Alan has been the recipient of three Electronic Media Awards and was inducted into theNevada Broadcasters Association’s Hall of Fame in 2003.

While Alan has worked in the television and radio industry for almost 30 years, his career didn’t begin with the media.

Alan worked in the field of psychotherapy for 10 years. His specialties included working with poly-abuse drug addicts. He relied on his creative training and employed the techniques of role-playing and psychodrama.

Alan’s radio career has taken him from Santa Rosa to San Diego, Sacramento and San Francisco. In June of 1999, Alan was hired as the afternoon drive time host at the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the first eighteen months, afternoon ratings quadrupled. In the fall of 2001, Alan became the morning drive talk host. Today he is the star of mornings at Newstalk 720, KDWN and remains the most popular local talk show figure in Las Vegas.

In January of 2012, Alan became the nightly television host for Eye on Vegas where he interviews movers, shakers and entertainers.

Alan is a proud member of VFW Post 1753, and for the past 14 years has been the Master of Ceremonies for the annual Veterans’ Day Parade in Las Vegas, the second largest Veterans’ Day parade in the nation.

Alan graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Sonoma State University and a Masters Degree in psychology from California State University at Dominguez Hills. Alan and his wife Rhoda were childhood sweethearts and have been married for 44 years. They have twin daughters, a great son-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters…and a Shiranian (Shih Tzu/Pomeranian) pooch named Daisy.
